Does FLEE work for classes ?

Dec 19, 2010 at 2:17 AM

Hello,

Suppose I have a class

public class Animal

{

     long Legs{

          get; set;

    }

}

and I want to evaluate the expression "animal.Legs == 2"

Is this possible with FLEE.

Something like:

Animal animal = new Animal();

animal.Legs = 4;

bool isBiped = Expression.Eval("animal.Legs == 2") ;

Thanks!

Yes, it's possible; just read the documentation.

FLEE's expression syntax is its own, similar to that of VB and the C languages, but identical to neither. In particlar, the expression you cited wouldn't evaluate, but "animal.Legs = 2" would.

Thanks, RichA. BTW, how does FLEE compare to embedding
Iron Python? I am working with C#.
